Adjust the temperature by sliding the set-point on the right of the thermostats. There are three zones — living room & kitchen, upstairs bedrooms, and downstairs — each with its own thermostat. Every bedroom also has a temperature sensor on the wall (the small white squares), and fans come on automatically with the system. Please leave the mode on auto.

Light switches have dimmers — hold the switch up or down to adjust. The bedside lamps turn on by touch, so don't spend too long hunting for a switch.

The TVs have YouTube TV. For other apps we recommend casting via AirPlay or Chromecast, so you aren't logged out at the end of your stay.

The washer, dryer, and EV charger are in the garage and are available for guest use. The exercise equipment is also available, at your own risk.

The BBQ and the patio fire table both run on a timer. The terrace fire table uses a propane tank, and there is a spare tank in the garage. If the propane runs out, feel free to swap it — just let us know so we can replace the spare.

For safety reasons the indoor fireplace is strictly off limits. You are very welcome to use the two fire pits outside — please just make sure they are turned off when you're done.

A crib, bassinet, high chair, and stair gate are in the master bedroom and the upstairs hallway closets. Cabinet locks are under the kitchen sink, and the downstairs bedrooms have blackout blinds. Please inspect everything before use, and wash items right away if there's any chance of staining.

In the summer months the Paso Robles wind picks up daily from roughly 2pm to 6pm — it's part of what gives the grapes their concentrated flavor. Plan on wind-protected spots like the south side of the house, or a sheltered winery such as Halter Ranch.

Wine country has plenty of visitors — deer, birds, and spiders. Paso Robles is even known for tarantula season in the fall; they look terrifying and are entirely friendly. Enjoy the ranch, and don't be surprised to spot some wildlife along the way.

There is no smoking inside the home. The property has smoke detectors, exterior and garage video cameras, and a Ring security system. Smoking indoors or tampering with security equipment will result in a fine.
